The evidence of the negative consequences of having sex outside of marriage is not always visible. Studies show that most high school hookups don’t make it past graduation. The emotional attachments developed often lead to derailment of established goals and aspirations due to lack of focus and mismanaged priorities. You may not want to stop having sex now but you open yourself up to consequences that have lasting effects years later after the thrill (and most likely the relationship) is dead and gone!
